Articles
can be any length as long as the topic of the article in some
way relates to stillwater fly fishing. Please include corresponding
photos with the article if possible. Full credit will be given
to the author along with any photo credits. Some example of

Articles and photos can be e-mailed or sent through the post
office. Photos that are e-mailed must be at least 300x300
pixels in size and be in .JPG format. Please include a self
addressed stamped envelope with your submissions if you would
like your materials returned to you. All other submissions
will be discarded.

an article on the site that gives the same information or
if the topic of the article is judged not to fall under the

Fly Patterns must be originals and
must be usable in stillwater situations. Flies can be mailed
in through the post office or sent in as digital image through
e-mail (addresses below). Please include the name of the fly,
the recipe (materials used to make the fly), and how and where
to fish it. You can include a step-by-step instruction on
how to tie the fly but that's up to you.
Images that are e-mailed must be at least 300x300 pixels in
size and be in .JPG format. Please make sure that it is a
close up image of the fly and that you are able to see details
of the fly. Think of what you would like to see if you were
looking for a fly pattern online and go from there. If you
need a better idea of what to send in please go to "The
Bench" section of this site and pull up a pattern.

Photos must be original images taken
by you or someone you know. The subject of your photo(s) must
relate in some way to stillwater fly fishing. Photos can be
sent in through the post office or sent in as images by e-mail
(addresses below).
Some examples of what to send in include:
•Fish you have landed while fly fishing stillwaters
•Stillwaters you have fished
•Close-ups of different species of trout
•Close-ups of different aquatic insects
•Children fly fishing
Do not send in:
•Photos with nudity, scantily clad women or men, tasteless
humor,etc.
•Photos that you took from another website without permission
•Photos from lakes where you pay per pound
•Photos of trout on stringers or drying up on shore
•Photos of trout held up by a couple of fingers shoved
in it's gills
•Photos where there are any hints of spinning tackle,
bait, etc.
You get the idea.
